What is Legacy Giving?

Legacy giving, also known as planned giving, allows you to "leave a legacy" to your favorite cause beyond your lifetime. A legacy gift communicates your values and passions beyond your life and may allow you to make a gift larger than you thought possible.

As a TCC Legacy Society member, you play an invaluable role in the future stability and success of TCC. 

Society Members receive:

• Access to TCC Legacy Services, a team of expert advisors who will consult you on creating a strategic legacy-giving plan or reviewing your current plan to recent tax law changes.  
• Invitations to special TCC programs and events.
• Preferred seating at TCC events and programs.
• A TCC Legacy Society lapel pin and special commemoration gift.
• Annual recognition in TCC publications.

In addition, you can:

• Retain control of your assets over time.
• Change beneficiaries at any time.
• Provide future funding to help TCC students attend college and complete their degrees.

Your gift is important to the future of TCC and the TCC Foundation. We appreciate you letting us know about your legacy gift so we can uphold your intentions for the contribution in the future.

1. Provide a gift through your will or trust to the TCC Foundation.
   These gifts can be:
   • Specific dollar amounts from your estate
   • A percentage of your estate
   • A specific asset in your estate
   • The residual of your estate
2. Make the TCC Foundation a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, pension plan, or retirement account.
3. Fund a Charitable Gift Annuity through the TCC Foundation.
